Eighteen single-story cottages are coming to 5th & Center in Birmingham's North Titusville —
built for accessible living and long-term quality of life—without sacrificing affordability.
Navigate Affordable Housing Partners has been investing in North Titusville since 2018—bringing older homes back to life and adding new housing options near Washington K-8, Titusville Library, and public transit. Partnership with the Titusville Development Corporation remains strong.
We've also invested in the Washington K- for several years because we believe good, strong schools are essential to a healthy and strong community.
homes renovated
apartment units rehabbed
homes relocated
new homes constructed
Designed with accessibility and adaptability in mind, the cottages offer thoughtful layouts, safer movement, and features that support independence over time.
Single-story homes designed for comfort, mobility, and aging in place.
ADA-accessible layouts and walkable routes.
Energy-efficient construction that supports lower monthly utility costs.
Faster delivery with consistent quality.
This project didn’t start with new construction—it started with what was already here. See the “before” photos of what was once Center Court, key milestones like blight removal, and how community input is shaping what comes next at Fifth & Center.
Why This Matters
This project turns underutilized land into accessible homes for the elderly and residents with disabilities.
It supports long-term neighbors with safe housing and a walkable layout.
Community development strengthens the whole block.
